Youth High School Drama

Drama makes for great television and we all love to tune into programs like Revenge and Home & Away to keep up with our favourite plot lines.

In this specially crafted program we go in search of what makes great TV drama and then participants get to make it happen for themselves.

Based over a semester (two terms) we begin to develop characters and plot lines as we write the script and on to all other aspects of television production including location spotting, costume design, sound production etc. Then it’s time to film as we bring the drama to life, filming the scenes with the final product being a 20 minute dramatic episode.

This is a program not only geared towards those who want to act, it is open to participants interested in behind the scene action as well, including directing, script writing and production design.
